One of the ways a credit union is different from a bank is that credit unions are owned by their members. As an owner of the credit union, members get to elect who they would like to serve on their Board of Directors.

The volunteer Board of Directors, elected by our members, governs our credit union. These individuals serve as your voice here at the credit union and make important decisions that guide the overall direction of our credit union. It's up to you to elect the individuals you think will serve in the best interest of you and our membership.

To vote for this year's board, paper ballots with the instructions for voting by mail, telephone or online will be mailed to eligible voting members on February 18, 2020. Once you receive your ballot you can view the candidates and then cast your vote for up to three individuals. (You must have your unique Election Validation Pin located on the paper ballot in order to vote.) All votes are private, secure and will be audited by a third-party.

Voting Eligibility Requirements (In order to be eligible to vote in the 2020 election for the Board of Directors, a member must):
  • Be a primary owner on the Share account (not a joint owner)
  • Be in good standing with a minimum balance of $5.00 as of December 31, 2019
  • Be 16 years of age on or before the ballot return deadline
  • Have a valid signature on file as of December 31, 2019
Votes are tallied and audited by Election Services Co., a third-party. Election results will be shared at the Annual Meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. All members are welcome to attend the meeting. Details will be in the Spring Advance Notice newsletter.
