Giving Back to the Communities We Serve

Credit unions have a social responsibility to uphold the philosophy of “People Helping People” and to support their communities. But at Advance Financial, it’s more than that. You’ve allowed us to serve and be a part of this community for over 80 years. We’re extremely grateful and, therefore, we want to give back. Through sponsorship and a variety of donations, charitable events, financial literacy education programs and unique partnerships with local businesses and organizations, Advance Financial is committed to a better Northwest Indiana.

Step Up to End Hunger: Join Our Summer Food Drive

At Advance Financial, we believe in walking alongside our community - especially when it comes to supporting neighbors in need. That's why we're proud to partner with the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana in support of their annual Hunger Hike by hosting a special 'Hike Away Hunger' food drive from August 1 to September 30. We'll also be supporting our loveable mascot, Moe Monkey, as leads the warm-up at the Food Bank's Hunger Hike on Saturday, September 20.

How You Can Help

  • Monetary Donations- Every dollar provides up to 3 meals to a family in need.
  • Non-perishable Food Items- Drop off any canned or dry-food goods at either AFFCU branch
  • Hunger Hike-  Join us at the Food Bank's Hunger Hike on September 20

By participating in this drive, you’re not only helping stock local shelves, but you're also supporting the greater mission of the Hunger Hike—to bring awareness to food insecurity and inspire action across our region. Let’s come together to hike toward a hunger-free future.

Thank you for your generosity!
