At Advance Financial, we believe that investing in education is one of the best ways to support our community's future. That’s why we proudly offer our $5,000 Scholarship designed to assist local students in achieving their academic dreams.
Each year, we award scholarships to deserving students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and a commitment to their community. Whether they’re pursuing a degree at a 2 or 4-year college or university, our goal is to help ease the financial burden of higher education and support their journey toward success.
We encourage all eligible students to apply and take advantage of this opportunity. Applications are available from January 2 to March 31 with the winner announced at our 87th Annual Meeting in May.
By supporting education, we’re not just helping students—we’re strengthening our entire community. Because when we invest in the next generation, we all thrive.

At Advance Financial, we believe in keeping your money where it belongs—working for you! Credit unions are not-for-profit financial cooperatives that exist to serve their members, not to generate profits for shareholders. But now, there’s a growing threat that could impact the benefits you enjoy as a credit union member: unfair taxation.
Big banks and special interest groups are pushing for credit unions to lose their tax-exempt status. If they succeed, it could lead to:
Credit unions reinvest earnings into their members and communities, helping families afford homes, small businesses grow, and individuals build financial security. Taxing credit unions would ultimately hurt you—the member-owner.
We need your voice! The Don't Tax My Credit Union initiative, led by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), is rallying members across the country to stand against this unfair taxation. Click the button below to learn more and take action today.
Your membership makes a difference. Together, we can protect the future of credit unions and ensure they continue to serve local communities—not corporate interests.
